Description

This is a CTF event for all security enthusiasts who wish to enhance and showcase their cybersecurity skills in a competitive environment. The CTF event is organized on the sideline of NEXUS conference. 

The CTF will be a Jeopardy Style CTF where every team will have a list of challenges in different categories like Reverse Engineering, Web Security, Digital Forensics, Network Security, and others. 

For every challenge solved, the team will get a certain amount of points depending on the difficulty of the challenge. The team that will get the highest score at the end of the day will be the winning team.

CTF Time in Kuwait Time Zone: 

Starting at 12:00 PM 

Ending at 06:00 PM

How to Create a Team?

1. Register on CyberTalents platform. 

2. Go Create Team tab on the CTF page. 

3. Write down your team and click “Submit”.

How to Join a Team?

1. Register on CyberTalents platform. 

2. Go Teams tab on the CTF page. 

3. Search the team name you would like to join. 

4. Select the team and click on “Join Team” button in the Actions Column.

Conditions

Anyone attending NEXUS conference is welcome to join. 

Rules concerning the platform are included:

• Sharing the flags between different teams is prohibited.
• Brute Force attacks on the challenges submission portal or challenges links are not allowed.
• Any attack against the site or the hosted servers will be observed, and the player will be banned from participating in the CTF immediately.
• Organizers have the permission to disqualify teams for any unethical behavior or any trials to interrupt the CTF.
